Recent Performances

With a mission to break the boundaries between performers and audience, Aileen's chamber ensembles have performed not only in concert halls, but also in ice-cream shops, dining rooms, museums, and elementary school music classrooms. Her chamber groups commit their playing to standard repertoire through commissions of living composers.

Chamber Music

Aileen has played alongside
top performers with orchestras such as the Lucerne Festival Academy Orchestra and the Aspen Music Festival orchestras. She often subs with Symphoria, Allentown Symphony Orchestra, and Cayuga Chamber Orchestra.
She has played under renowned conductors such as Robert Spano, Ludovic Morlot, Patrick Summers, Hugh Wolf, and Christian Arming.

Solo performances have led Aileen from small intimate performance venues to concerto performances. This year, she is giving the world premiere of Kornel Thomas' Obsidian, concertino for clarinet and wind ensemble. She is also performing solo works by Kornel Thomas and Jenni Brandon at the International Clarinet Association ClarinetFest in Denver.

Music of Our Time

As an advocate of performing music of today, Razey collaborates with emerging and established composers from around the world.

Performances with the Lucerne Festival Academy Orchestra included the premiere of Lisa Streich's Segel and the Swiss premiere of Frederick Cerha's Spiegel I - VII at the Cultural and Congress Center in Lucerne, Switzerland. The orchestra also brought these pieces on tour to Hamburg's Elbphilharmonie and Kölner Philharmonie.
