Hidden Within
Is there something hidden within us during the lunar phases, (im)patiently waiting to be exposed at full moon?
SALITRE
An improvised journey through the musical backgrounds and soundscapes of Northern Chile, Salitre draws inspiration from the deteriorating skeletons of the salitre, or saltpeter refineries and the ghost towns left after the destruction of the industry.
…Y EL MAR
A music and dance drama loosely based on the life of Argentinian feminist icon and poet Alfonsina Storni and her relationship with Chilean poet and diplomat Gabriela Mistral. This work will explore themes of queer romance and feminine liberation, as well as the complications surrounding aging, illness, and death.
